Meet our permanent residents
This page shows our permanent residents at Clarks Farm - the dogs that won't be re-homed.
These dogs can be sponsored from £5 per month or for 1 year for £70, either for yourself or as a gift for a dog loving friend.
Sponsors will receive a certificate, photo of your chosen dog, small greyhound toy, Speedy the greyhound book plus a Clarks Farm pen & keyring. Your greyhound will also send you a Christmas and Valentines card plus a postcard in the summer. You are also welcome to visit your dog.
Should you wish to sponsor one of our long-standing residents, please fill in a Standing Order Form (found at the bottom of this page) and send it to us.
Please send any sponsor forms to us at the following address.

Alfie is the resident Clarks Farm flirt!
He lost his leg to bone cancer but has adapted remarkably well to three legged life. But he sure does know how to play up to the sympathetic audience when we have visitors.
Everybody loves Alfie!
Mikey is just too nervous to go into a home - we have tried but it just stressed him too much. He is quite content with his life at Clarks Farm but does tend to bark at strangers when they come near him. Once he knows you he likes fuss but it will take several weeks of regular visits for Mikey to trust people.
Millie is a lovely girl who will maybe go into a home one day. She is very nervous around new people - particularly women and when she meets someone for the first time she will cower at the back of her kennel and sometimes growl!
Once she has got to know you it is a different story as she will play and cuddle you. She also loves having her neck stroked and will smile at you with complete pleasure.
| | Timmy is nearly 12 and came into Clarks Farm due to the ill health of his previous owner. He went out to another home but unfortunately this lady was also taken ill. He settled well at the kennels and as he has a touch of arthritis that flares plus a few other problems we decide not to rehome him again. He lives in our reception cabin and loves wandering around the farm and can often be found up to his knees in mud chasing the ducks in the pond! |
